How I built it
The Challenge
Procurement teams need to evaluate suppliers using more than purchase value alone. Delivery reliability, quality performance and lead times are essential for identifying supply-chain risks and improving purchasing decisions.
I developed this three-page Power BI demonstration to bring those measures together in a structured supplier evaluation and risk-monitoring solution.
My Approach
The report provides an overall purchasing performance view, a comparative supplier scorecard and a detailed Supplier 360° analysis.
Users can compare suppliers, identify performance concerns and investigate purchase order history, delivery outcomes and quality trends.
DAX & Technical Methods
- Procurement KPIs: Purchase Value, Purchase Order Lines, On-Time Delivery %, Rejection Rate % and Average Lead Time.
- Supplier scoring: Delivery Score, Quality Score, Lead Time Score and an overall Supplier Performance Score.
- Risk classification: Performance-based supplier rating categories including Excellent, Good, Watch, At Risk and Critical.
- Comparative analysis: Supplier rankings, delivery-versus-quality scatter plots and score breakdowns.
- Supplier-level analysis: Purchase order details, monthly delivery trends, rejection trends and risk assessments.
- Dynamic reporting: Fiscal-year filters, supplier-category selection and switchable performance metrics.
